We love getting this question! Nothing gives us greater pleasure than helping our clients plan their wine selections for large gatherings. Our retail team has decades of experience pairing the perfect wines for all kinds of menus and ordering the proper amount to make sure you don't have too much or too little. We can also assist in temporarily storing your wine before your upcoming get together and delivering it to your party's location on a just-in-time basis.

Building a great wine collection is no easy task. MWC can help you gradually shape your collection or we can put together an entire batch of wines so you are all set from the get go! We prefer to get to know you and your palate before we begin these exercises and stopping by the store to taste and discuss your preferences is always a great way to start. However you want to cultivate your perfect collection, we’ll ensure it’s exceptionally curated for your palate

In addition to being a retailer, MWC is a full-service, off-site wine storage provider offering both temporary (less than a year) and long term storage solutions.  If you have run out of wine storage in your home or if you just need to temporarily store your purchases until your cellar expansion/move is completed, MWC can help. The short answer is maybe. We selectively buy wine and spirits from trusted private collections; however, provenance weighs heavily into our decision on who we buy from and what we buy from them. If you're interested in working with MWC to pare down your collection, be prepared to answer questions and provide documentation related to where you acquired the bottles and how they've been stored since. Please send your sale list and a brief explanation of why you are selling and where the bottles were sourced to shop@mwcwine.com.

We structure our storage contracts at various term lengths. We have no minimum number of cases required to open an account with us (note: we have some clients with less than a full case in storage); however, we do discount based on case volumes.

We offer all storage clients the ability to insure their collections through our commercial insurance policy. Our policy includes a deductible and, in the event of a covered loss, provides for full replacement value of your wines. Insurance is optional and therefore is not included in our storage rates. For all clients insured through our policy, we mark the wines to market semi-annually to determine replacement values, which in turn are used to assess an annual premium for the coverage. Storage clients electing not to insure through our policy are required to execute a waiver of liability upon contract inception.
