2018 Patrick Corbineau, Vin de France, Conquetes Blanc

Patrick makes just one barrel of white wine ... this barrel of Chenin Blanc is never topped up, but it's also very humid in Patrick’s cellar, so there’s not much evaporation. The plateau of Candes where this vineyard is located used to be considered part of Saumur, Pascaline Lepeltier has noted. This was bottled October 14th, 2024. Just 3 cases for the entire US market .... so, to say this Chenin is a collectors’ wine/unicorn is an understatement.
