Aged in ex-Worthy Park barrels, this is cask strength eau de vie de raisin from Gascogne (becaause there's more brandy in France than just the 'gnacs!). You know, while reading through some reviews of this I found a weirdly translated website that used the term "pastry chef" as a descriptor. Now all I can think of is this tasting like some previous coworkers and I'm a little weirded out. Cause before I was thinking aobut all the dried fruit, quince, and almond notes and now I have a whole flood of strange memories about various restaurants and I'm having a sort of Proustian moment. But what's better for those moments than a glass of some amazing spirits? Don't say coffee. this is better.
