I am, in general, a huge fan of tobala. It always brings so much to the table that, when pressed to spend my money on single variety, wild grown mezcals, I have a hard time going with any of the other options. This bottle in particular was my favorite mezcal i tasted this year, full bodied stone fruit and a mid level of oil in the texture, more wet stones than keith, mick, charlie, bill, and ronnie in a jacuzzi, and a delicate bramble-y herbaceousness. Just perfect.
