Yves Canarelli hails from Tarabucetta, just outside the famous Porto Vecchio in the southern part of the island where the soils are more granite based. This wine is made from 50% Sciaccarellu, 30% Niellucciu and 20% Grenache, all fermented whole cluster, with almost all of the juice coming from direct press. This is a livewire, full of juicy sour red cherries and keyed-up aromatics. It finishes salty and bright and demands a second sip.
